Let's get something straight before we start.

I am SICK of Adwords Guides. I've hated them ever since everyone and their mom made an Adwords guide claiming to have the secrets to Google Adwords.

Really, I do. And if you give me a minute, I'll explain.

But first, let's start with how I got here, and why I'm writing this...

It must have been about a month ago now, I was browsing the web, when I saw a site about a product called "Adwords Killer."

I always like to know about the latest products whether garbage or not, which is the only reason I clicked on the link in the first place. And here I am...

Well, let me explain. I am an internet marketer, and I have been marketing on Google Adwords for a year and a half.  In short, I know what I am doing.

So, I have never been a big fan of Adwords guides and books- for me, having a guide that is out of date, not specific, or doesn't really give you any secrets is a waste of money.  A lot of Google Adwords Guides just either recycled what Google already has for FREE in their tutorials, or they recycled some other Adwords Ebook and decided to sell it to you.  Although, many of the people selling this junk can write a good sales letter... and lots of newcomers see "Earn $xxx per day, quit your job, and sit on the beach all day", and think "Wow! This has got to be it".

Then, the same guys who buy the Adwords Guides realize that it said the exact same thing that the last guide they bought said- only after wasting their cash on Adwords and on the guide... and then, the next guide comes out and the cycle goes on...

Now, this is great for the guys putting out this trash - but sorry for the poor newbie who bought it.

So, you can imagine what I was thinking when I saw this "Adwords Killer formula cracked site." Like I said, I like to see if there any new products that DON'T suck.

When I reached the Adwords Killer website, I was actually pretty impressed with the sales copy, and even more impressed with some of the features that it claims to have - super high click thru rates, low CPC, high conversions, tricks to raise your QS...

But, again, I have to be honest with you...,

At this point, I am thinking, "nice copy, lots of features, this will sell good... but once again, it just isn't going to really help anyone out including myself... so forget it".

And that was that; I left the site... there was some more hype about the product, and someone said they ran a few affiliate promotions on Adwords and were about $400/day up from using the Adwords Killer techniques. Also, I read someone talking about raising their CTR 10% and their conversion rate doubled. So, I spent the the money and half-heartedly purchased my copy of Adwords Killer, knowing I could get a refund if it sucked.

Just so you know, I only purchased because... well, money isn't too much of an issue for me, and I wanted to see if any of the techniques were what they claimed to be. 

So, I decided to give it a chance, and make full use of Adwords Killer... so I sat down for an hour to play around on the member site...

But an hour wasn't enough...

The problem is Adwords Killer formula is really the kind of techniques you can spend a month playing around with and still get it wrong. But if you have an idea of what you're doing, its unbelieveable... if you don't though, read the newbie guide first...

In the end, it took me three days to master the techniques - three full days to ignore the hype and focus on the techniques, and really understand what works with Adwords Killer and what doesn't. Because, believe me its tricky...I read it through twice...

Just so you don't think I am exaggerating the techniques that are actually worthwhile of Adwords Killer, here are some of the features of it. Remember, each one is practically a separate secret in and of itself:

1. 2 Words that can send your CTR's to 20%: There are 2 Words that shoot your CTR's up and Google will reward you with those low CPC's. Incredible in the right hands, completely useless in the wrong ones.

2. 5 Types of Products that always convert- Market research helps, but these kinds of products really do convert.  I never thought about it much but from experience, its true.  Exteremely powerful for certain purposes (misleading for others)

3. Under Scene Keywords that no one uses- These keywords are great and it was really interesting to think about why people don't use them.

4. 4 Secrets about Googles scheduling feature- I must admit that I never really messed around with the scheduling feature until reading this - very helpful.

5. The "CPC Kill" Secret weapon for Competition - Adwords Killer explains how to dominate over people bidding over you.  Its completely legal, but this one should be used selectively...

As you can see, Adwords Killer is practically ingenius. In fact, each of the above features could be its own guide.

So, by the time I got my head around it, I needed a rest. But, I quickly focused in on the features that would work for me, and within a few days I started taking Adwords Killer techniques to my existing campaigns, and using it to make new ones...

"But now for the ultimate question - did I learn anything new from Adwords Killer? The results are in..."

Let me put it this way.

The results were.... interesting.

While I haven't changed my tune about most Adwords guides (and I have read all of the ones that are popular) in general, there is something very, very useful that you can learn with AK - if you realize it. And none of the other guides tell you any of this. If it wasn't for this, it would have been another recycled trash guide.

And the funny thing is, very few Adwords users even know about it... I have been using it for almost two years and didn't know.
